Keelman’s Way School offers a dedicated pool area for our Swimfun classes. The pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature of approximately 34 degrees Celsius and has a gentle slope, making it ideal for young learners.
For the safety of all swimmers, babies and toddlers must wear swim nappies and be accompanied in the pool by an adult. Swim aids, such as arm floats, are provided for children who cannot yet swim independently. A range of other swim aids are provided and used to develop technique and introduce new skills.
While not compulsory, we recommend swimming hats for children with long hair to ensure safety and comfort in the water. Swimming goggles are also encouraged to enhance the learning experience and facilitate submersion activities.

Keelman’s Way School is located on Campbell Park Road in Hebburn. It’s easily accessible by car, with free parking available on-site. The school is also conveniently located on a busy bus route for those who do not drive, as well as being just a ten-minute walk from Hebburn Metro station.
