Perfectly situated for local families, this well-equipped facility provides the ideal environment for your child to learn to swim with Swimfun’s experienced instructors. We offer a range of engaging classes, from baby and toddler sessions to advanced swimming programmes.

The changing rooms at Harton Sports Centre are gender-specific for adults, so Dads in the boys’ changing rooms and Mams in the girls’. Please remove your shoes before walking poolside or use the provided blue cover shoes.
Spectators are welcome to observe from the poolside, wait in the changing rooms, or enjoy some fresh air outside. The pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature of 30-31 degrees Celsius.
For the safety of all swimmers, babies and toddlers must wear swim nappies and be accompanied in the pool by an adult. Swim aids, such as arm floats, are provided for children who cannot yet swim independently. A range of other swim aids are provided and used to develop technique and introduce new skills.
While not compulsory, swimming hats are recommended for children with long hair to ensure safety and comfort. Swimming goggles are also encouraged as they are very beneficial for learning aquatic breathing and submersion activities.

Harton Sports Centre has two car parks, one accessible from St Mary’s Avenue and the other from Lisle Road. The pool is situated next to the gym.
Important Note: The entrance to the pool area is not immediately obvious. It is situated behind the pool in the Lisle Road car park.
